Although the moon has remained largely unchanged during human history, our understanding of it and how it has evolved over time has evolved dramatically. Thanks to new measurements, we have new and unprecedented views of its surface, along with new insight into how it and other rocky planets in our solar system came to look the way they do. This video is incredible! Filled with exquisite and excellent details. This is as close as possible to seeing the moon super close like the apollo astronauts. It also gives a wealth of information to us amateur astronomers who want to learn more about the features and were we could find landmarks where astronauts landed and where ancient volcanoes are under the surface. I love the moon! And it's incredible features.
